Low Level Non-chatters in Plaza of Conquest

Hello, I've been farming there for the last few days, and there has been a massive increase in low level non-chatting players that ruin everybody's trap sets. Can you put some kind of minimum level cap to make sure this doesn't happen, or increase the threat on bosses? Low level players that can't communicate ruin the entire fight for us serious high level wizards.

Something that would be nice, is to have to first player in the fight (Sun) have the option to boot a player from the fight.

I totally agree on this! One time I was fighting the Myth boss, forgot its name, and guess what was there? A level 13 PLAYER!!!!
And this level 16 player on Gurtok Demon did nothing but TROLLS AND CYCLOPSES! I think there should be a certain level when players cant port to Dragonspyre!

But until then, maybe switch the port off!

Yeah I totally agree about that but for me its even worse call them noobs the noobs take up all your traps and beg me to be there friend. Its really annoying but I don't think that the first player in the fight can give someone the boot. I mean what if someone kept on banning people from the battle especially when its their quest. But i do think that KI should make it where the noobs cant have access to the higher level worlds who is with me?

This is why they need to include the "join fight feature". this way a button comes up and you can click yes or no to them joining your fight. If you click no and they are in a dungeon or in a bosses den they get "kicked out" or if it is just a general fight then they just can't join in. I think this would be a good feature and think the players should push for this. I am a soloist, I prefer to fight alone so I know how you feel about someone "ruining a fight" for you.

I agree and disagree:

I agree because of the fact that they should stay in their world.

But I disagree because it violates their subscription if they are using one. The subscription gurarantees (sp?) that they can go anywhere for subscribing.

Solution?

Increase the threat rate for lower levels. (NOTE: this is NOT my solution, this was made by another person.)

Example:

-A grandmaster Myth, Life and Fire are fighting sea lord.

-A lvl 18 balance wizard comes in.

-The sea lord's threat will increase and will automatically defeat the low level.

The threat rate depends on how low their level is for their world. So the lower the level, the more offensive the enemy will get.

It will never work, coming from a Soloist as well. There needs to be another way. If players had a choice to let someone join there fight or not, then what you get is a player hogging all the boss fights up for them and there friends especially if they are farming any particular boss for a drop.

Speaking of friends a little off topic. If something needs to get changed this should be one of them. ASAP

I am EXTREMLY SICK of people spamming your friendship while you are shopping at the Bazzar, or Browsing one of the Libraries. If one is shopping, or Browsing, a message should pop up for the spammer saying: "Player is to Busy right now."

Because if you are in the middle of buying or selling and a friendship message comes up it goes in front of the window that says buy this item, sell this item, yes or no. So if you are buying, and selling like crazy, that friendship window pops up you accidently click yes for friendship, when you really wanted to click yes to buy or sell.

Random Friendship requests are annoying at most all ready, and when they spam it while you are shopping or browsing? Well, That really should be the last straw.

Sure we can turn this feature off, but if we meet someone the proper way, not the random way, (which is the wrong way in the first place) and you help each other out of course you wouldn't mind being this persons friend you are gonna want them to ask for friendship or visa versa.

I don't care if low levels go to higher level worlds, but it seems we can't do Plaza of Conquests without noobs to use are traps and claim how pro there damage was (when they do about a 1000 off 12 traps) all I need to do is a myth blade and I do over 1.5k damage. Since not letting them fight violates subscription, we need to sue dramatic threat increases, if the person is like over 10 levels lower then next lowest person.

Actually it would work because when you go to fight bosses , you can go back in but alone. If I can beat stuff so can everyone else and I am not all that good either. This way when you want someone to join you fine. But when you are out in the open and want to fight alone you don't have a pest bugging you either or coming in to just piggy back to gain the points. I have had plenty of piggy backers. And honestly it is distressing because sometimes I am almost done but low on points. knowing another blow can kill me as I am about to take out the last creature.

I don't mind sometimes someone joining in. I think this feature would cause people to be forced to be polite. And I see nothing wrong with this or violating anything. They can go over to the next circle and dual on their own. You can't hog a boss that is in private because all they have to do is reenter but they would be alone then.

So I don't see how anyone can hog anything. What they do is ask that person if they may help them. I don't mind helping people as long as I can get what I need to get done first or when I am not busy. I would gladly help. But when I want to solo alone I see no issue with having this feature. I was in a game that had this feature and it worked rather well. Not only did the upper levels help the newbies but the upper levels were able to get what they needed to get done when they wanted to solo.

An easy way would be for all current threat values to be dropped when a new player joins and the joinee assigned a threat value based on the number of combat rounds already played.

i AGREE, say i am farming a boss with my freinds and they are saving traps for tempest or somthing. then a level 20 noob comes in uses a move and us the high levels are under attck, so we could die and the noob gets all the drops. i think a solution is again not my idea but make it so the noobs die first.

I would also like to suggest if people don;'t like this idea maybe create a few "realms" that are strictly for soloists! This way we can level ourselves and farm with ease and know that nobody can join us as we dual when we don't want others to join in. This could be another idea as well. This way we can use our same wizards to go into the other realms and dual alongside each other in the other realms. Maybe? And then the problem is solved. When we want to fight in groups we just go to the other realms.

I agree with most of the comments on this because just the other day i was fighting a boss by myself and than one of my friends teleported and i was like "you better not take of my traps" and she was like i wasn't and she was gonna go after the key" and then two of her friends came and where level 5 text chat and they took away my traps with like cyclops and blood bat and i got so mad then because they where like "Did you see that i did so much damage!" when it was like 500 damage, When i could have done like 2k using Earthquake .

Lowbies advancing ahead is rather irritating, I’ll readily admit. However, if I teach rather than scold, they tend to behave the next fight (for the most part). Explain what to do and that the less they screw up, the faster the monsters are defeated and the quicker they get the equipment reward and battle experience. In battle we are team, act like it.

That being said, gosh darn they can be fregg’n annoying! Friend and group requests need to be turned off at all times. It turn them on for a legitimate individual and then right back off again. There will always be those players who refuse to play nice, don’t break any official rules, but aggravate you so much that you world hop to just get rid of them.

What about level locking certain areas? To enter/teleport into the Plaza for example requires level 35+.

Like i said before in my previous comment i have stuff to add like i was helping my friend in Malistare's Liar and a level 8 non chat comes in and makes it so its a full dungeon when the Grand there was gonna have a grand life come in and the level 8 is there. So i think KI should ban low levels from going to higher level Dungeons not the world because that violates their subscription

I think that the level limit to DragonSpyre should be levels 25+ so it cant be full of Noobs. So maybe You can try my level limit to keep this Noob problem down. Next time this happens even with a level limit look for a post like this. So don't come crying to KingIsle for it to be fixed. I really agree to this post. So if you like it please respond or anything that you do to respond. Well i hope this has been helpful. Cheeers!

Just make realms with level requirements. Doesn't violate their policy because the low levels can go any where in the game, just not to certain realms. However there are those lvl 50 noobs that are fun to watch.

How they got to level 50 is still a wonder to me.

Those guys play a lot worse than any low level on my list. I really enjoy playing with low levels who are expert bladers, trappers, and general support specialists. We often make a seamless team and set up some really fun hits. Whereas you get those big bad grands who take all the traps to do two thousand damage and then yell "WOOT!"

I think that is a great idea cause first of all i like how it will stop a lot of this complaining . The thing i like most about it is that I have the option to have low lvl ports or not. In my opinion any help is better than none. I always have am happy to have a lower level friend to port to me, things get done a lot faster . I think that the game is a whole lot more fun with friends low level our not.
Just my two cents

So many post on lowbies entering Dragonspyre. With all the post and feed back on this growing problem. KI needs to take action now, and end the madness.

I had to bust my butt to get to Dragonspyre, and the lowbies get a free pass, and take up boss spots, and use up our traps with wands? I am also suprised on the lowbies, and their sailor mouths. Do they kiss their mothers with that filthy mouth?(yes there are was around the chat to cus at people)

The point being, there is no reason these foul mouth, immature players should be in Dragonspyre in the first place. It should only be stricted for level 45+. HANDS DOWN. No loop holes at all to get in.

KI FIX THIS GROWING PROBLEM! I am a paid suscriber and crown buyer, us paid subscribers and crown buyers should not have to tolerate this mess.

PLEASE JUST FIX IT!

Absolutely there should be minimum level required to even port to the higher worlds. Say minimum 25th level for Mooshu and 35th level for DS.

Or even better, if you don't have the spiral key for the world then you can't port to it - you don't have access to most of the quests and you probably can't survive on your own anyway.

And so what if you have a subscription, you still have to earn you way to Dragonspyre by questing. How does it violate the agreement by requiring people to quest their way to the top - and what about the people who are Level 40+ on subscription and don't want to deal with the leeches.

I say nobody under 40 should be allowed in DS. To tone down the "piggy backers" and nobody should be in Mooshu under "30". I had a level 10 try to friend me in mooshu the other day. I told them when you get up to at least 30 then come back and we will talk about friending!! I was not about to help me in a higher realm that he couldn't possibly fight alone. Or help him cheat his way around quests I had to work hard at. Everyone should have to "earn" the right to be in these realms.

I have an idea....

Maybe delete all the low level friends in your friends list and dont have any online to come and bother high level players
