Wizard101 Community Code of Conduct




Wizard101 Professor Greyrose Doodle  Our message boards and the wider community have been designed to allow players to exchange game information and experiences, and ask questions about the game.

To ensure all interactions are safe, we have a team of moderators overseeing all message board activity. They review, edit, and delete inappropriate messages so the message board discussions stay safe and on track. We will remain diligent in these efforts to ensure the message boards remain constructive, informative, fun, and safe for players of all ages.

Who can post?


Everyone is welcome to read the message boards, however only players with subscriptions can post new messages or answer existing ones.

When will my post appear?


While we are working as quickly as we can to be sure that we get your posts approved in less than 12 hours, please be aware that at times, we may experience an approval delay of 24-72 hours and especially over the weekends or on holidays.

How can I find my post?


You can search for a specific author using the search function, or click on any name to see all posts by that player. You can click on your own name at the very top of the page to see your approved posts. You can 'Watch' posts that you are interested in - and you can opt in to receiving emails when those topics are updated.

Why didn't my post appear?


If your post did not appear, it may have been approved but moved or merged with another post of the same topic. If your post was rejected, there may have been multiple reasons for this action. Some of them include but are not limited to:
      
  1. posting in ALL CAPS (including the Subject)
  2. posting in the wrong board - ask someone if you are unsure!
  3. inappropriate or vaguely written subjects, including clickbaits
  4. religious, political, or other off topics
  5. customer support requests or inquiries that already have an existing support ticket in place
  6. posting negative rants with no constructive point
  7. derogatory statements towards KingsIsle, our partners or other players
  8. posting or soliciting of personal information
  9. posting or soliciting locations and ages
  10. links to unauthorized sites (here's a list of sites you can link to)
  11. links to inappropriate images or videos
  12. 'hijacking' a thread (changing the subject or commanding it's view)
  13. posts requesting player to player item trading of any kind are not allowed and won't be approved
  14. making duplicate posts or responding to your own repeatedly
  15. posting hacks, cheats and bots
  16. posting spoilers or unreleased information
  17. name-calling and other general rude behavior
  18. misrepresentation by the poster of having ‘insider’ knowledge
  19. misrepresentation by the poster of being a KingsIsle employee
  20. posting or requesting Skype, Discord, or third-party chat contact information.
The publication of any message board post is completely at our discretion and we are not obligated to explain the reason your post was rejected, deleted, or otherwise altered.

Why was I banned?

We may ban accounts from posting on these message boards for repeated offenses listed above. For game account mutes, bans, and other inquiries, please contact customer support. Posts in these forums asking about existing support tickets will be removed to ensure we're providing you support in one central area.

By starting a new post or replying to an existing post, you agree that you understand and abide by this Code of Conduct. Violations may result in a permanent ban from both these message boards, and potentially from Wizard101.
