i remember when i first played this game and before joining the school of fire i read what it was based on.i also remember getting the spell immolate i thought it was perfect based on the school description.got to level 100 a couple years later i was curious if it was invincible to weaknesses applied to the direct damage.later on i tested it out my friend but too juju weakness on me and was wondering it the outgoing damage was effected by it.but sadly weakness does actually effect the outgoing damage.so i thought would'nt be cool and very effect if weakness only applied to the incoming damage to yourself like a internal converter or something, still having the outgoing damage be the same damage as if it was no weakness towards it, having only shields or bubbles to defend it.

Sounds Pretty cool eh?

No. It doesn't make sense for something specifically designed to reduce an enemy's outgoing damage to not work on a spell that deals damage.
