We all know that the kroks came from a world to krokotopia and took it over abusing the kindness of the manders. What world did they come from? What darkness has fallen there that caused them to leave. We should find out
What was their natural culture like? Were they Celt-like and tend to absorb into the culture they are overtaking, but with themselves at the top? Or were they Roman-like and tend to obliterate the culture they are overtaking and superimposing their own? In other words, did the Egyptianesque culture we associate with Krokotopia come from the Manders or the Kroks?
What was that land like before the Kroks? The name suggests it was very different & had another name before the Kroks came. Does the Krok home-world still exist? If so what's going on there now? And yes, also - why did they have to leave? Was it all of them or only a faction? Did others of their people go elsewhere? Were they all conquerors and oppressors?
Are there other Manders elsewhere? Did any of them get away and stay on other worlds?
