This has been brought up many times. I can't find any evidence of staff saying why they don't want to do this but I doubt it will ever happen. The easiest thing is to just buy gear, snacks, TCs or something and have the character you want to get the gold sell those items.
Here's how to transfer gold to your other wizards...

No, this isn't a isn't a simple or quick way to transfer gold between wizards. Instead, its an effective way to use your shared bank between your wizards.
1. Log into your wizard with lots or max gold. 2. Travel to the bazaar, and buy as many items as you can hold. 3. Port to your house or dorm room and ad items to your shared bank until its full. 4. Log off of your current wizard, and log back on with the wizard you want to end up with gold. 5. Travel to your bank in your house or dorm room and remove and sell all items in your shared bank. 6. Repeat this process until you max out this wizard with gold; or pass out in the process.
By no means is this a fast process, but it is doable. Of course, and this is just crazy talk...
...but if you just spent the same amount of time playing; you might have lots of fun, while earning all the gold you could possibly want along the way.
