SK Boss Review & Thoughts: In'Zhizor

Ok, it's known that In'Zhizor, Lower Zigazag's Stone Skeleton Key boss in Krokotopia, has been a fine adversary, though, I got that thought that he's the most ignored Skeleton Key boss in the Spiral, & I think it's because he has no dialogue from encountering In'Zhizor & defeating him, not like all the other Skeleton Key bosses, even the new ones.

To KingsIsle, even the writers & programmers in KI's MMO Live Team, yes, I'm talking to you, Scholar Zander & Moolinda Wu, I have to say these thoughts to give to you. Dworgyn, pass my thoughts on to them, should you be around to do it.

To Scholar Zander, have In'Zhizor dialogue when we use a Stone Skeleton Key to access him in Lower Zigazag & after defeating him added, to give him personality. I've dueled him before, & I've not heard a word from him, even since the 4 Dungeons update went out. Honest.

To Moolinda Wu, or other programmers in KI's MMO Live Team, have In'Zhizor some new boss cheats added to make the duel with him a bit more challenging. He should present a reasonable challenge to Wizards.

These suggestions should make dueling In'Zhizor more interesting & less ignored. He should have some more attention.

KingsIsle, I hope you do these requests sometime soon, even some time once the newest update goes Live. It's not impossible to give In'Zhizor dialogue & boss cheats.

Thanks for again for listening!

Well, I do enjoy dueling In'Zhizor. Just thought that he needs dialogue & boss cheats so he'd be less ignored by many.

I battle him every time I go through the dungeon. So do lots of other people. Not sure how you get the idea he's ignored.

I don't think dialog is necessary.

Why?

Because for normal bosses, you only get dialog the very first time you go into their room. If it's a dungeon, you get the dungeon dialog every time you do the dungeon but what does everyone (okay, 99.999% of everyone) do the second time and subsequent times through? Fast forward through the dialog and not pay any attention to it.

With the skeleton key bosses, we're not doing quests, not following a story line, and don't need dialog.

I thought there weren't many people dueling In'Zhizor lately, so that gave me the thought that he was being ignored today, 'cause many were already doing the higher level adventures.

Well, he's the only Skeleton Key boss that doesn't have dialogue every time people encounter him. I think it's been like that since the 4 Dungeons were launched, & it somehow feels hollow to see that In'Zhizor doesn't have dialogue.

I think he should have dialogue added to give him some personality, some surprising tidbits in the story, & give the encounter some meaning & have our encounter with him quite less hollow. That's how Skeleton Key bosses are, & that's what I like about them.

Well, just because some of you think In'Zhizor may not need dialogue doesn't mean it cannot be suggested to add dialogue to him.

It's always possible.

My thought about In'Zhizor's lore about him would be that he's the lesser younger brother to Moh'Lharz, who took too many insults in the past years since his younger years, & was recently stationed to the lonesome building he resides to become a lowly sentry watcher, under his orders, so he took it into his own hands to rebel against him and gain the favor of Ammit by succeeding in his scales by building his own private army, E.G, his own Condemned Soldiers. Also, he gets very jealous about certain actions on another's doing, like know about Orrick Nightglider leading the secret invasion in Colossus Blvd, so he's been doing all he can to be greater than Moh'Larz.

That's what I would think about him if he had dialogue. I'm sure KI can look into it someday.

To recall, albeit unrelated, in Pirate101, some bosses didn't have dialogue for encountering them, like Isao Murasaki in MooShu's P101 side, & KI went back & added dialogue to him in it's Advanced Pets update in Spring 2014.

As with that case, KI could always go back & add dialogue to In'Zhizor in Lower Zigazag. It's not impossible, you know, like how King Artorius spoke before, "Changing old quests in a live game is incredibly tricky. Not impossible, but tricky.". "Not impossible", meaning, it can be done anytime.

No doubt doing it won't take too long. It would take only one of KI's writers, should they have some time, some programming, & so on, & voila, In'Zhizor's got dialogue.

Here's my thoughts on how In'Zhizor would have dialogue added...

"Hmm... do my nostrils detect the hint of a warm-blooded Wizard mucking about in Lower Zigazag? My instincts presume so. What business brings you here?

Save the Manders? I'm afraid you won't be getting the chance. The only thing you'll ever get is regretting dealing with the likes of me, the lesser soldier, or rather, the lowly watcher!

When we were settling in to bring in Manders, I was to be the one to escort them to Apep, but no, that was given to my older brother, Moh'Lharz! This really angers me to no end!

It's bad enough Orrick Nightglider gets to lead the secret assault in Wizard City instead of me, but this... this really breaks the straw in the camel's back! I'll show him who's superior!

I've taken matters in my own hands to start my own private army, one that will topple his, or any other, so Ammit will take me in his place! That will show him who is the runt of the litter!

But, now that you're around, I presume I will have to chomp up your body and spit out your worthless soul. If it will make Ammit happy... so be it! Say goodbye to your life, meddlesome Wizard!"

& after defeating him...

"Agghh!! The humiliation of my horrible childhood runs through my veins all over again! Like being picked on by my brother, I've been picked on by a persistent Wizard! No more! I surrender!

I'll never live this outrage down if this gets to the others! Unless... you seem the type that wants some reward from me. If you keep this quiet, will I give you what you need and leave?

Good! Take it, and never step in here again. I'll just... return to my lowly given responsibility."

Well, some bosses have more dialogue snippets than most that have fewer, so not all bosses have to limit themselves to a few snippets, like three or 4. Anyway, this thought should bring him the standards of a SK boss. I know KI may review & think this through. It's just a thought.
