The Frog should be life, and the Gnome spell should leave a life trap on the target and a blade on the caster, how about leaving 2 blades on the caster, or how about dispel against all magic instead of just life magic... and a blade on the caster, basically anything other than two life spell dispels.

Gnome has a very fair use when it gives 2 life dispels. If you think about it, if it gave a blade and a trap, you could combo Gnomes into a hungry caterpillar and it would HURT. Universal dispel is also a bad idea because it's basically stunning your opponent for 2 rounds which allows you to hungry caterpillar and do a TON of damage.
