It "Reduces threat on a target"? What the heck is that? What purpose does it prove? How does it work? I have used it a few times and cannot even see the difference, or what it does. At best I have no idea why it is even worth 2 PIPs. Anyone with an idea of what it does?

Threat (aggro in other games) denotes the aggressive interests of a monster. I guess now you can figure out the rest

It only works when fighting a Non-player. Use this on yourself or an ally so that they have less of a chance of getting attacked by a target.

Other spells generate threat, which means that the enemies are more likely to attack them than their allies. It's pretty the single most unused spells in the game.
