Question for KI on Second Chance Chests

Would someone please answer...

Are the odds when you throw in 50 crowns any better than the original fight to get any particular item?

Do your odds increase for the more crowns you toss or do they remain the same?

If you used the Chest for a particular boss the same number of times as the items he carries, are you guaranteed to get every item?

Are you guaranteed to receive a drop or is it possible to just get some gold?

Other questions seem to be answered so quickly. Maybe this one was missed because of the time I posted?

I think it is important for people to have this information to make and informed decision to use them or not.
