macOS users and Spring 2021 Update Login Access

i've downloaded and redownloaded like 4 times and it's still not even letting me login. when i click on the W101 login it just crashes before i log on. i'm happy that it's working for a lot of people but i'm still very frustrated that i haven't been able to play for a while now.

What's your macOS operating system, and did this occur only after the patch this morning or was it happening before?

the operating system i have is MacOS Big Sur version 11.0.1 and this occurred last sunday when everyone else was experiencing issues, it just never got resolved.

Upgraded to MacOS 12.3 yesterday and now Wizards crashes immediately on opening. Tried downloading again and got the same result. Anybody else having this issue?

Due to the nature of the issue, until we can get a corrected update from CodeWeavers, we need to refer you to for advanced technical support at Codeweavers. You can reach them at wizard101@codeweavers.com or sales@crossover.codeweavers.com. We'd recommend sending to both at the same time.

Please note that Codeweavers support for Wizard101 is free and you do not have to purchase any additional software.

I have a 2020 M1 Macbook Pro, the game runs fine in every aspect besides the crown shop.. When I open the crown shop it drops below 10fps everytime. Is this an optimization issue and is it being looked at by the development team? I would much rather play on my Mac than my PC but this makes it difficult.

DIAGNOSING LOGIN ISSUES

If you are unable to login, please first try the following first:
  1. Ensure your system meets the minimum specs:
    https://www.wizard101.com/game/system-requirements
  2. Identify a possible error and follow its instructions if there are any (you may need to upgrade to Big Sur, which is the only supported OS for Wizard101)
  3. Uninstall the game completely, ensure all files are removed for the game (including the trash folder and any save folders), and then reinstall.

If the first step doesn't work, creating a new Profile on your machine will allow a clean install of the game.

For macOS Catalina users, while we no longer support the OS, this version and other OS versions may still work with these instructions:
  1. Open Finder, press Applications, and delete the Wizard101 file.
  2. Right-click ("two-finger" click on a track pad) Finder in the taskbar, press "Go To Folder," and type "~/Library/Application Support" and delete the Wizard101 folder.
  3. Reinstall the game using this link https://www.wizard101.com/game/download-mac . You should now be able to open up the new file and start up the game like normal.

Is there any ETA on a Mac compatible build?

I broke my computer since they fixed it my game does not work they backed up my data to and when I turned on my computer wizard was on the desktop. my os is Ventura 13.0 I go and download the game and nothing shows up just says initializing then it disappears but it shows the icon on the bottom of the computer I have a Mac book pro 2022. I looked on the forums downloaded the app cleaners or whatever and deleted everything and reinstalled it and still nothing what is wrong with this crap.
