Black lotus are found in Mooshu, usually around the huts and along the roads. If you search do an internet search you can find maps with spawn points. There are lots of posts here on this very subject.
The fastest way to get black lous's is to go to the village of sorrow and go to "the outskirts of town" as they call it. It's just a winding path that connects to a small circler area. There are three spots a black lotus could appear. If you just keep switching realms, you will get black lotus's faster then most stragities. It is true that this way lowers the chance of a black pearl drop. It takes me about half an hour to get twenty black lotus's this way.
