Tree of Life ALWAYS has it - it just isn't always in the same places. You may have to look way back by Youkai and Nomoonaga's towers. I always run the whole perimeter of the area to make sure I pick up all the spawns. There are usually a couple of chests along the way as well.

You're gonna have to invest some time on the Black Lotus thing. This quest is the one that "separates the men from the boys" as the saying goes. You can't simply camp out in the Bazaar, you're going to have to work for it.

Search this forum, it has already been covered, but some quick hints are

- you can buy a transmute recipe on Mooshu
- learn to switch realms

- in the underground building in the Ancient Burial Grounds in Mooshu there are two side rooms from the octagon shaped rooms with a crypt in them that can have black lotus. Not exactly sure where, but seek and you will find. Then switch realms. If you keep switching and there is nothing there, somebody else has farmed it, try another time.

- I said it on another posting, you can find several pieces of ore, which is one of the reagents for the transmute, in the Throne Room of Fire dungeon on the upper floor of the pyramid in Krokotopia. Since its a dungeon, no one can farm it from you. You will have to fight the first boss, just consider it farming for things to sell. If you can't find the other reagent, cattails, I can't help you. You should run across three ore when you are in the area near Krokenkahmen (sp?). Some general hints - After seeing Winthrop, I stick to the right wall when traveling to the braziers/Narini. After defeating Narini, I stay along the left wall to get back, the same wall I came in on. Do not attempt to get the treasure chest on the other side (yet). Go back to Winthrop, then depart along the LEFT wall, you will get the treasure chest, then follow along that wall to the four obelisks. It also helps if you have a mount to knock this one out faster If you are Death school you might want to consider if this is really worth it, most of the monsters are Death.

- Just keep your eyes peeled when you are doing Mooshu quests. Look around buildings, and in the center of rocks at a Tee section. There's one that shows up in the Jade Palace behind a building.

You should be keeping your eyes peeled anyways for the blue oysters.

I usually run two computers, two accounts, and I got enough reagents for the first account just doing the normal quests, then I have to farm for the second account.

Your time would be better spent switching realms then trying to buy Black Lotus at the Bazaar.

The Ancient Burial Grounds is another place to find Black Lotus. Check around the boss' dojos and in the alcoves within the burial mound (where you have to light the 3 candles).

I got tons of it in Moo Shu. There is several that spawn by Aulchi. I think that is his name anyway. There is a bridge right before you get to him and you can find it all over in that area. I needed 40+ Black Lotus and I got them there. You start out like your heading to the cave of solitude but this is the opposite direction at the village. If you go in the direction of the water sprites there is a teleporter. Take the fish if you can. If not just find Aulchi on the map. Wish I could explain the directions a little better. I hope this helps.

Hate to say it but: Crown Shop is where I get a lot of those hard to find items. Remarkeable Reagants 100 or 115 crowns I think. Personally has saved me a LOT of time but also is actual REAL money buying a fake black lotus, so...your decision. But if you really want it, that's the ONLY way to do it. Jumping realms does nothing but your head spin.

Hope that helped.

Good Luck!
