I have five Grand Wizards and I spend so much time trying to complete Crimson Bookcases and I still only have one for each character. It is driving me crazy. Is it me or are Black Lotus almost impossible to find. Maybe it is because so many are looking for them. Please, please find a way to make this somewhere in the realm of possibility. I think it would be great if we buy seeds and grow them like so many have suggested.

There is spell called Transmute Black Lotus. You use cattails and ore to make a black lotus. Still a lot of work but it helps. I think I got it in WC, MB or MS. Go around to all the crafting people and you can find various transmute spells. :)

These quests take time. I am enjoying it much more the second time around. I know what to expect and what I need.

Actually, trying to spread the crafting around on five wizards at once isn't necessarily the way to go. I would choose one and finish that one off, then go to the next one. This isn't like doing quests. Every Black Lotus you pick on another wizard in one your primary could have used. Like you say, you've crafted five bookcases, but don't have a Master Artisan yet. What you learn on the first Master can be used to make the second go faster, and the third faster even. I have five Master Artisans now, and each one I concentrated on the task at hand and completed it before bringing the next one along.

You'll find your way, I'm sure - Happy Crafting!

You probably know this already and have been doing this.

Black Lotus is at times difficult to collect. I have 12 wizards (2 accounts), so the collection of specific items can be a problem.

This is for those who need to know:

To collect Black Lotus - jump realms. Find a place where the Black Lotus appears in two places (usually at the end of the road near a building where you see a cart on one side and a rock on the other. Then starting with the last realm listed, jump from realm to realm, moving up the list as you search the area (cart and rock) for the Black Lotus. If you do this by yourself, you have to deal with the cool-down time for switching realms. :)

A way to cut down on the time in jumping realms: With a friend helping and starting at the last realm, you jump to the last realm and the friend jumps to the next to the last realm. Search out the area for the item you need. Then port to your friend and search that area. Then you jump to the next realm and your friend to the next one beyond. This will eliminate the cool-down time for switching realms or drastically reduce the wait. It will require a little time from your friend and some coordination of effort. :)

This also works if you have two paid accounts and takes only your time. You only need to jump to your other wizard if you see a Black Lotus.

And remember to pick-up anything and everything that you can during all of your quests. The items (in this case ore and cattails) may be necessary for later crafting or you can sell the items at the Bazaar and make someone else's life easier. 8)

Have fun!!! :) :) :)
