Discover the stolen lands of Lemuria! Currently on Test Realm, we're opening the sealed door to an exciting new world that is at once familiar and strange and completely bonkers. What will you find there? It’s a mystery! Let us know, as we are just as curious.
Along with the new world and all the exciting content it has to offer, we’ve made several improvements to existing systems, starting with the Quest Journal. It has been revamped to allow filtering of quests! With mainline and side quests to complete, it’s now easier than ever to focus on those most important to your questing goals. A cluttered Quest Journal is no longer an issue!
Also in the update are new features to Adventure Parties, continued balance changes to PvP gameplay, exciting new Beastmoon rewards, and of course a selection of new Beastforms to challenge your play and scare the enemy team right off the combat sigils. Are you a fan of Castle Magic and making your castle the bling bling of the Spiral? Seek out Babbage Basset for a bunch of new decoration options!
Test Realm began on November 8th and will run for at least a few weeks before an official launch of Lemuria makes its way to the Live Servers. Check out the Test Realm Update Notes with all the details, and thanks for your feedback during Test Realm!

KINGSISLE GAMERS EXTRA LIFE GOAL REACHED
Congrats KingsIsle Gamers Team, we did it!
This year, hundreds of Wizards and Pirates joined together on the KingsIsle Gamers team, to play games and raise money for a great cause. Saturday, November 6, was the final grand finale where we livestreamed on KingsIsle’s Twitch channel to raise over $500 in a single day toward our goal. The team’s original goal was $10,000 but together we achieved $17,500 raised overall!
Our team’s top fundraiser this year was the community group, “Wispy” FireWispGames, with an amazing $1,020 raised! Team leaders who raised $100 or more received the new Wizard101 Sky City Bundle. These rewards are currently being sent out over the next several days. If you are a team leader and do not receive your reward by November 20, 2021, please contact community@kingsisle.com.

KI LIVE: HAPPY HALLOWEEN
We had a spooktacular KI Live show for October! Did you recognize all of the special guests with their costumes? Thanks community for helping to vote for your favorite!
We hung out with the community in-game with a 1-day All Souls Pegasus mount and in chat with all of you who attended. Superfan Outfits were also given out, including the boots to everyone that watched the show. Additionally, we answered your questions throughout the show and much more.
Missed the show? No worries! You can watch the recording on YouTube:
It's always a blast hanging out with the community, so let us know what you most like about KI Lives so we can continue to make them even more fun to watch.
Secret Reader Bonus - The giveaway code was also changed up a bit with an exclusive Pirate101 code provided this time. As of this newsletter's announcement, for those who didn't get a chance to redeem the KI Live giveaway code yet, we opened it up again (KILIVESUPERBOOTS) for another 500 redemptions!
A great gameplay tip submitted to KI Live comes from Kestrel MistWeaver:
"If don’t want to farm for gear in Waterworks, Darkmoor, or the Catacombs, consider some other gear options available at those levels! Gear from the House of Scales, Exalted Duels, and Karamelle are all fantastic alternatives that deserve recognition." - Kestrel MistWeaver
RATBEARD'S RHOSHAMBO DEV DIARY
We’ve got a great lineup of dev diaries coming up! Starting with Ratbeard’s latest dev diary about PvP gameplay and the introduction of the Roshambo system:
“A Rhoshambo system is cyclical – Rock is good against Scissors but weak vs. Paper, Paper is good vs. Rock but weak vs. Scissors, and Scissors are good vs. Paper but weak vs. Rock. If you are a Rock, you might choose to "cross-train" elements of Scissors to boost your offense against Paper, or you might choose some tools from Paper to give you an edge against other Rocks. You could even do both – as long as you don’t start to spread yourself too thin.
So why reintroduce the Rhoshambo at this time? It helps us solve a few problems, not just with PvP, but with school identity and game complexity in general. The primary relationships are simple and easy to remember, and help inform players towards their school identity, towards deckbuilding, and even in advancing the game state towards victory.” - Ben “Ratbeard” Durbin, Lead Designer
NEW CONCEPT ART FROM ADAM ROUSH
Adam has been busy creating cooler (and creepy!) new art! Over the past month we released news packs and other items you can now get in the game. Check out a few of the concepts below!
“Here's the Creepy Bumper Car, a purple cycloptic demon. Loved exploring ideas for this one, including monsters, zombies, and demons!” - Adam Roush
“Here's the Goatling pet concepts- super cute and creepy cerberus goats. This was a little challenging, but really fun to design.” - Adam Roush
“Here's the Ferryman gear concepts. Lots of ghost rider inspiration here.” - Adam Roush
GAMEPLAY POST OF THE MONTH
Exploring the Shopping District with Autumn MistFlame
“Lloyd is a Castle Block Recipes merchant. Crafting items are needed to build these blocks.
On the Right side of the page, you will see the blocks you can buy. If the lettering is yellow, you can buy it with gold. If the titles are red, it isn’t an option yet because of the need to craft some smaller blocks first.
On the left side of the page is a picture of the item, the cost of the object, crafting goods needed to build the recipe, and what type of crafting station is needed to create the objects. The clock next to the crafting items needed is a clock that tells you the cooldown time for crafting.” - Autumn MistFlame
