I Dreamed of Zafaria

null

Hello! Some of you will recognize me, my name is Harvest Hannah.

My goodness has it been a year already! Seems like only yesterday I was in the Spiral meeting lots of new young Wizards.

Well no matter, I'll be back again later in November, but I'm actually more excited about Zafaria!

If you haven't heard already, Zafaria is coming very soon to the Members Only Test Realm and will be coming to the Live Game later in the year! Keep reading the newsletter for more details!

nullI'll soon be calling those of you who are level 60 to come to my office in the Commons as soon as you can! We have a small crisis which I hope you can help with. It involves travel to the world of Zafaria. I was there, long ago...

..but beware, while it is a lush and vibrant land, Zafaria was once the home of Morganthe and even still her agents sow the seeds of chaos. As war threatens to sweep over the grasslands and penetrate deep into the jungles of Zafaria, Morganthe plots to recover the heart of her lost power, and fulfill the words of the prophecy.

Harold Argleston's Book of the Month Club

Harold Argleston, LibrarianThis is the November 2011 installment of my Book of the Month Club. These books have been suggested by a fellow Librarian from Earth, her name is Kit Ward-Crixell and she is a librarian in New Braunfels, Texas, USA.

If you know and love Charlotte's Web, you might love Babe the Gallant Pig, by Dick King-Smith. Babe lives on a farm in Australia and learns to herd sheep from his foster mother, a sheepdog. If you're not from Australia, some of the words Mr. King-Smith uses might not be familiar, but you can still figure out what's going on as Babe saves the day more than once with his unusual talent.

Look for this book in your school or local library and enjoy reading, young Wizards!

Message from Merle

Wizard101 Headmaster Merle Ambrose
Hey gang,

I wanted to drop you a quick note to warn you of a scam that has been going on recently. People have been going onto Facebook and into the game and pretending to be me -- or another member of the KI staff -- and offering to give out "free items" or "crowns" in exchange for providing them your user account and password information.

We have said this before, but it bears repeating:

KingsIsle Employees will NEVER ask you for your account information or password. NEVER. (Why would we? We already have your account information!)

If someone is asking you for your account information, that individual is likely trying to trick you and steal your account. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!

KingsIsle staff members in the game have a badge that says, "KingsIsle Support" -- if someone is claiming to work for KingsIsle and cannot or will not show you this badge, please report them immediately.*

Some players have asked if I maintain a Facebook fan profile. I do, in fact, and I post there periodically. For those of you who are interested, it can be found here:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/J-Todd-Coleman/121012684593256

ANY other profile page claiming to be me is also a fake/imposter, likely created to steal the accounts (and crowns) from unsuspecting players. My ONLY official fan page is the one listed above.

Thank you for your time and attention, for enjoying our game.

A note from Lydia:

*Just to follow up, here's a picture of the KingsIsle Support badge: null Thank you! That's a lesson we try to teach our players every day! Giving away your password is the same as giving away your Wizards forever.

For those of you who are allowed on media sites such as Facebook, the official Wizard101 Facebook page is at http://www.facebook.com/wizard101. We post almost daily news and have weekly giveaways for amazing items in the game.
