When ever you want to make a new X card, or give insights on a previously made X card, everyone loves to bring up Judgement, saying because it's a lvl 28 spell and "the strongest x card" that you're not allowed to go pass 100 damage per pip, even if you make it a 120 lvl spell..... i would like to introduce the actual strongest X card in the game... Fire LVL 18, HeckHound 130 per pip DOT.....it's lower lvl, and does more damage than Judgement, not once, but 3 times.... that is all

Let's not forget StormHound too!

But you're right, everyone always seems to sleep on that spell. It's always just stashed away.

It deals 30 more damage per pip, and that 130 isn't per round, it's over 3 rounds. Making it deal (at 1 pip) ~43 damage per turn. BUT while it deals more damage, Judgement is a clean-cut, single-target, single-hit, no after-effects, 100 damage per pip. Heck Hound is stronger, but it's a different type of spell. Like comparing a shield and an absorb.

ACTUALLY that's not true. If you get a power pip(and you're a Balance Wiz, of course) it becomes 200 per pip. So yeah, it's still possibly the strongest X single-hit card. Altho Storm does have a stronger spell that is all hitting, but that can be a disadvantage when someone has placed a feint on a single monster etc etc

It is a lot like comparing shields and absorbs, shields are great, absorbs are not. Judgement is great, heckhound is not.

"ACTUALLY that's not true. If you get a power pip(and you're a Balance Wiz, of course) it becomes 200 per pip."

sorta, but not really.

even as a balance wizard, it's still only 100 per pip; however, since power pips count double for your school only, a balance wizard, or someone with a mastery amulet, with full power pips will hit for 1400 base damage.

7 pips x 100 per pip = 700 base damage
7 power pips = 14 regular pips x 100 per pip = 1400 base damage.

kinda like storm's tempest or ice's penguin spell (forget the name, but i'm sure anyone who has an ice wizard will know what it's called).
