After casting a Shadow Shrike in a battle I randomly started to think if Shadow Magic would have a major role in the Third Arc. Perhaps the next villain could manipulate us with Shadow Magic and temporally turn us evil and fight our allies and we would be the cause of our own demise. Kingsisle can even put a new type of magic many people have requested (Light Magic, not related to the Astral Schools) to balance out our Shadow Magic to prevent this from happening again and can successfully defeat the villain in the final world of the arc.
