New Halloween Idea(s):

So, I just had an idea or two about some potential Halloween events that could be developed and used in the future.

1) During the month of October all of Wizard City (including its various avenues and boulevards) should be in a perpetual state of nightfall. The skies should be in shades of orange with building lights on and their outlines in high contrast to the sky. Witches on broomsticks should be flying around above. Lit Halloween pumpkins (around 4 different ones) should be able to be purchased in the Bazaar (or won thru quests) for gold. Players should be able to buy (for gold) or win through quests a Halloween Bowl of Treats that they can place in their homes (only active during the month of October) where any visitor to their homes may put their hand in and receive a prize (make the prizes worth it. No cheapo stuff, please. And let's make them new and original. Put on your thinking caps. How about Halloween NPC's for your home, Halloween Costumes/masks and some new types of Treasure Cards).

2) A hitherto hidden and closed off path descending from Eliks Edge to the Wizard City Carnival-grounds is opened for the month of October. A traveling Carnival arrives in Wizard City in this location. The Carnival has a dark and sinister reputation. Various rides and games are located in the Carnival (Roller Coaster, Ferris Wheel, Games of Skill, walkthrough Creepy FunHouse maze, players may ride on broomsticks with a witch on a long ride over Wizard City, etc).
The rides can actually be ridden by game players. All games and rides require tickets that are won through Carnival Quests. Carnival Quests and bosses are selected based upon Wizard Levels of experience meaning that, they are a challenge for all players and in addition to Carnival tickets, prizes (think gear, etc) may be won upon defeating bosses.
Clearly, a storyline will need to be developed for this but all in all it would provide a great deal of spooky Halloween fun for the players.

Just my two cents worth. Hope you'll consider my ideas. ;)

As far as the Halloween Carnival is concerned, think along the lines of the story (and tv movie) called "Something Wicked This Way Comes." This should help in establishing a solid storyline.
