I have heard the term "muting" or that a player was "muted" a few times and I never really figured out what it meant. I am curious as to what it means. Can anyone tell me? plz? :D

Muted players only have access to use Menu Chat, even though they can see what other typed chat players are saying.

A player's typed chat privileges are removed when they violate the Terms of Use and use inappropriate language in the game. These typed chat privileges can be revoked for only a few hours, to permanently. If you find yourself 'muted' (you can hear and see but you cannot speak) consider it a warning that inappropriate language will not be tolerated.

Often we revoke chat privileges from accounts instead of completely banning them from playing the game. Menu chat only and muted players can quite successfully play the game with the chat option they have.
