Sometimes, when I go to a shop, I see clothes that show no stat boosts. I'm assuming they're for looking stylish. But my question is: If I'm wearing stat boosting clothes and I put on one of the 'stylish clothing items', do my stats go back down again? I'd test it, but I don't want to waste gold.
Yes, clothing and other equipment only boosts your stats while you are wearing it, if you remove that equipment your stats will go back down.
Many of those 'no stat' clothing items are meant to be used with the Stitching feature offered by Eloise Merryweather, who stands near me in all worlds.
For a small Crowns fee, she will allow you to transfer the Stats of one item onto the Appearance of another. This process cannot be undone, so please make sure you choose the correct items to be tailored.
