How do you know if someone has open chat? Thanks,

simple, look beside their name if they have a bubble with a line thru. it, they are menu chat
if they have just a bubble beside their name they are text chat
and if they have no bubble by their name they are open chat

If they have menu chat, they will have a bubble with a red cross through it next to their name. If they have text chat, they will have a bubble next to their name. If they have open chat, there will be no bubble.
