1. Earn 425 gold
2. Go to the Bazaar in Olde Town
3. Buy a Glowing Star Fruit
4. Head to Pet Pavilion
5. Play a pet game (I recommend Dance Game, because it's SO easy)
6. Feed your pet the Glowing Star Fruit
7. Repeat everything above until you have lost all your energy

Only do the steps below if needed. Otherwise it's just a waste of time

8. Put the pet and all your pet snacks into your shared bank.
9. Create a new character and skip the tutorial
10. Receive the first quest (Professor A wants you to take a letter to Private Stillson)
11. Don't do the quest.
12. Go to your dorm and put the pet and the pet snacks into your backpack
13. Take the letter to Private Stillson
14. Do a few quests and level up
15. Head to Pet Pavilion again
16. Repeat steps 1-6 until you lose all your energy

17. Repeat the entire process if needed

I could be wrong but I think it's 425 per Glowing Star fruit

The easiest way to get it is buy it at the Olde Town Bazaar.

YES. It's sold there. I recently bought some.

I think it's 425 gold, because that's how much the author said you need to earn

This is a good tutorial.
I just wish that there was a way to train your pet without doing those silly games.

Once you get to krokotopia, buy the recipe for chilicheese fries. Then farm cat tails and craft the level 4 fries to feed your pet.

good so far, just add in to train offline in grub guardian mangrove marsh map its 12 points + your snack per game vs 4 points + snack in w101. makes a difference plus you can train offline at level 2 where unless with help you cant get to pet pavilion until like 6-7 i believe.

I don't think that works. Although there is a recipe that he's selling. It's the 7 Layer Taco. I think it works good if you've got easy ways to get the reagents.

I bought the chili cheese fries somewhere when i was in krokotopia. I thought it was the recipe guy on the left as you enter the oasis.

the advantage of CCF is they are level 4, and need 3 items to craft. Two of the items are cheap and you can buy them in krok. The third item is cat tails, and they can be farmed in many places. I like Wysteria, but find a place where you can get to a couple of them, then switch domains and get them again.

Doing this gives you pet snacks much cheaper than buying the snack directly.

Maybe. Plus Grub Guardian is more fun than the silly games at the Pet Pavilion.

Here's a better way to train your pet quickly.
1. Add a high level wizard
2. Tell him/her to go to Celestia
3. Defeat some bad guys
4. You can get some good 9 rank pet snacks from doing this
5. Play a pet game in Pet Pavilion or play Grub Guardian
6. Feed your pet the snack and it will give like 25-50 experience
7. Repeat the process

Sooo... basically you invented feeding your pet snacks?
The second part may or may not be abuse, and seems like a lot of work for just a couple extra pet games.

orrrr...you could just garden for them. if you have money to buy crowns. buy crowns. buy red barn farm, buy 20 evil magma peas. plant magma peas in redbarn farm. Cast bug zapper every 48hrs to keep away pests. in 9 days you get 20 magma peas eldered and ready to elder harvest. harvest and you get 20 level 8 and 9 mega snacks worth 40-50 points each. WITH that 20 you can take your pet from BABY to ANCIENT with one crop. From Ancient to epic with another crop and from epic to mega in 2 more crops. Wash, rinse and repeat with however many pets floats your boat. The lovely thing is at elder the peas give you more seeds so you don't have to buy more unless you want to run 2 crops at the same time. In between planting and elder you get a number of harvests in between with reagents and treasure cards. Which you can sell or use. win win. and once the intial purchase is made, all it costs YOU from then on, is energy.

Optional - Once you get to Grizzleheim, buy any one of the snack recipes. I think they are rank 7. Also go to the home page and claim your rank 8 snack (birthday gift) now before September ends!

There actually is a way you can train you pet without those silly games and you dont have to be at a computer to do it! KI has an app, Grub Guardian, which allows you to train your pet and get exclusive pets and even earn free items! You still have to play a silly game but to me its a lot less silly and it gets harder. The best thing is it saves your progress. Yes, it does connect to your account and you can feed your pet snacks, and yes, it does cost energy to train your pet but you dont need energy to get the items. You can also play it at FreeKI.com which is another KI game site.

Hope this helped!

Wow that sounds like a great idea! Maybe a little much for those who ignore there plants (oops my crop i had wasted crowns on is dead) but its worth a shot for me! I have no patience whats so ever (as you can tell) so i often play the dance game three times, get bored and never train my pet again. This sounds like a great way for me to stock up on mega snacks! Thanks for the idea, i'm going to share it with all my friends. (don't worry i'll give you credit) I just have to say it again, thank you so much TheCurlyWolf i will finally train my pets like a madman!

My pet Starfish was grown up by using the frozen Popcorn (I think that's the name...) which I had a LOT of.Like,what,45 of them? And sometimes when I bought crowns I had some rank 8 and 7 and 6 snacks.Got it some pretty neat skills with this technique

another way to level up your pets without games is to feed then unwanted clothing and housing items you can also get treasure cards, reagents and coins, and its a quick way to empty your backpack if you have too much stuff

Ummmm.. Sounds good.... BUT.. when you put that pet into a shared bank then use one of your other wizards to get this pet... It will drain ALL of your "training potion" just to pick it up and drop it in your Backpack.

Sorry but you are wrong.
You can Put a Pet into Shared Bank.
However. Once you want to pick it up on any other of your wizards it will only take all of your energy making it 0 no matter how much you had it.
Therefore you can't train pet like that.
