The Lemuria gear is underwhealming. Here are three reasons why.

1: No Set Bonus

Unlike previous equipment sets, most notably the Dragonspyre Dragoon set, the Merciless/Demiurge gear sets have no corresponding set bonuses. Without the extra benefits to give this gear some extra power, other gear sets outperform it.

2: Sticks to the same formula as the Karamelle gear.

I'm not sure how many people have noticed this, but the stat arrangements on the Lemuria gear are very similar to those on the Karamelle gear, with a few larger numbers here and there. Sticking to the same gear arrangement and style is really limiting in a game that invites versatility and customization.

3: Less powerful when compared to existing gear.

If you examine some of the other gear sets in the game, like equipment from Darkmoor, certain parts of Karamelle or the Wizard City Catacombs, they offer some distinct advantages (Stat boosts, certain special Item Cards, etc.) over the Lemuria gear that leave them less desirable. As a result, well... I haven't seen anyone carry around any part of this set that isn't the wand.
