Servant Minions?

(Going off what I said in my other post https://www.wizard101.com/forum/test-realm-updates-discussion/a-deaths-servant-8ad6a4277a37e3fc017a7eee7ac94467)

I was thinking there could be a new classification of Minion: Servants.

The main difference between a Minion and a Servant would be that these summon cards are limit to one copy and cannot be reshuffled. This means you can only summon your Servant once per duel!

The secondary difference is that Servants can get their own unique cheat (after a certain Stage). For example, the Storm Servant can have an "Discharge" cheat that casts an AoE version of Healing Current when hit by Storm damage and the Fire Servant can have a "Smog" cheat that casts Smoke Screen when hit by Fire damage.

Servants are based off the school's theme rather than the school's identity. Some examples of what I mean:
  • The Death school has the theme of necromancy and are identified by their drains/jinxes.
  • The Myth school has the theme of myths/legends/fables/fairy-tales and are identified by their minions/ward-removal.
  • The Storm school has the theme of electricity and are identified by their raw-power/blade-removal.
  • Etc.

And like in my other post they are received at level 10 and are upgraded with Stages, growing with the wizard.

In other words, the minion can get a maximum of 140% of almost all your stats (with some limitations).

Minion's Spells & Stages
First let me explain the Staging system. Each stage is basically a "level". Stage 1 is level 10, Stage 2 is level 20, Stage 3 is level 30, etc.
The Minion can only use spells under its level, so it cannot use Feint at Stage 2 but can use Feint at Stage 3.

When upgrading to Stage 10 (level 100), the spell will then also cost at least 1 Shadow Pip to cast, which is used for determining the minion's Shadow Pip rating (ie. x1 or x2 of wizard's base rating).

Some spell tweakings will include those the minion should not have (ie. Animate, Scion) and those the minion should have (ie. Deer Knight, Virulence).

Minion Stage Upgrading
Every 10 levels, starting at level 20, you can go to Dworgyn to upgrade your minion's Stage. Requires a certain amount of Onyx, Flawless Onyx, and/or Perfect Onyx to complete the upgrade. This allows players who are already a higher level to do these upgrades in order as well.

Optional: Minion's Stage Design
If possible, could you make it so that each stage has a different minion design? It could be just one design that gets bigger each Stage, or you could even reuse Animate's minion designs if it gets changed, as there are already 14.

The main differences between each Servant are their school, how they are summoned, and the cheat(s) they gain. Below are their possible general stats.

The way I figure the summoning works is it uses the caster's school identity "against" themselves. Any self inflicts should be scaled so that a level 10 wizard can properly cast the spell.
(Note: the spells cannot critical)

Ways Minions Are Summoned:

Servant Summon:
  • 250 Damage over 3 Rounds (Self)
  • Summon Servant

Servant Summon:
  • -75% to next Inc. Damage spell to all enemies [-75% AoE shield]
  • Summon Servant

Servant Summon:
  • Double Disarm (Self)
  • +50% to next Out. Damage to all enemies [+50% AoE blade]
  • Summon Servant

Servant Summon:
  • Stun for 2 Rounds (Self)
  • Summon Servant

Servant Summon:
  • 1200 to all enemies
  • Summon Servant

Servant Summon:
  • Sacrifice 5% current per Pip (Self)
  • Summon Servant

Servant Summon:
  • 1 Pip and 1 Power Pip to all enemies
  • Summon Servant

The minion cheats, as said in the first post, follow the school's theme rather than the school's identity. They received at certain Stages so it does not break low-level gameplay. They also get one special Class-Trait which is unlocked at Stage 10 (when they start costing Shadow Pips) that mainly interacts with the Master (the wizard the summoned that Servant).

Here are some I thought of so far:

Possible Servant Cheats

Servant Cheat(s):
  • When this Servant is hit with Damage, Servant casts Smoke Screen.
  • When a DoT is placed on this Servant, Servant casts a 25% AoE version of Detonate on allies.
  • Pyromancer Trait: When a DoT is cast by Master, cast a 15% AoE version of Fuel.

Servant Cheat(s):
  • When this Servant is hit with Damage, Servant casts Freeze on the caster of the hit.
  • Thaumaturge Trait:

Servant Cheat(s):
  • When this Servant is hit with Damage, Servant casts an AoE version of Healing Current.
  • Diviner Trait:

Servant Cheat(s):
  • When this Servant is hit with Damage, Servant casts Blinding Light and an AoE Cat Nap (everyone "falls asleep" unless you are "story resistant" ).
  • Conjurer Trait: When another Minion is defeated by a Single or AoE hit, Servant heals that minion for 10% . (Dismissing or summoning another minion does not trigger this cheat)
  • Teller Of Tales: At the beginning of every 3 round rounds after summoned, Servant tell a Story-Spell. Story-Spells target both allies and enemies with the effects. For example, "Gladiator's Story" casts Sword & Shield on everyone; "Dragonslayers' Story" casts Dragonlance on everyone; "Red Hood's Story" casts a cloaked universal blade and shield of a random value on everyone [0% - 50%]; etc.

Servant Cheat(s):
  • When this Servant is hit with Damage, Servant casts an AoE Spirit Armor.
  • When this Servant is hit with a Heal, Servant casts Brilliant Light.
  • Theurgist Trait: When all other allies are defeated, Servant casts Rebirth and sacrifices itself.

Servant Cheat(s):
  • When this Servant is hit with Damage, Servant casts Dark Ritual.
  • When this Servant is hit with Drain Damage, Servant casts Kiss Of Death.
  • Necromancer Trait: When Servant is defeated, Servant steals 50% of Master's current health and swaps half to . (Dismissing Servant does not trigger this cheat)

Servant Cheat(s):
  • When this Servant is hit with Damage, Servant casts a 20% AoE versions of Elemental Shield and Spirit Shield.
  • When a positive charm is placed on this Servant, Servant casts an AoE version of Weakness.
  • When a negative charm is placed on this Servant, Servant casts Bladestorm.
  • When a positive ward is placed on this Servant, Servant casts Mass Hex.
  • When a negative charm is placed on this Servant, Servant casts an 25% version of Legion Shield.
  • When a Pip(s) is stolen from Servant, Servant casts a 0 Damage version of Mana Burn on the caster. (Servant cannot trigger this cheat)
  • When a Pip(s) is given to Servant, Servant casts Donate Power on the caster. (Servant cannot trigger this cheat)
  • Sorcerer Trait:

Also forgot to mention that the Servants take up a Minion slot, so summoning a minion afterwards (except Monstrology) would remove them from battle.

This of course does not apply to the Myth school.
