Hello! I am an older player from many years ago. I was there before Dragonspyre was released. Over the years the game has evolved and I've been trying to evolve my playstyle with it. I've recently been really getting into the side activities, such as gardening, pet training, and fishing. For reference I am level 86 at the moment on my main Life wizard. I was wondering the communities opinion on whether or not Energy Elixirs are worth the cost. What is the general consensus regarding them?
Obviously it is a type of microtransaction, meant to bypass the time of regaining energy through waiting. I am not wanting to debate whether or not they should be in the game, I am wanting to know if people use them every time they run out of energy, or if it's occasional, or if you just wait the time for it to refill.
I find myself running out of energy rather quickly. So it's easy to justify spending those crowns on one, but they do add up over time. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or advice regarding this. Thank you for any help!
Again though, please do not start an argument over whether or not microtransactions should be in the game as that is not what the post is about. I am simply wanting to know if they are worth the crowns, and when/if you should buy one.
So first thing is to help you have better energy a lot of people use "energy gear" there is gear in the game that provides you with additional energy, much like gear does with Health or Mana. Usually though Energy gear doesn't have the best "fighting" stats so it's good to make a set that you can easily switch between using item sets (Control and then a number) that way you can have the extra energy at the beginning and end of the day. As far as the Elixirs: my answer is very occasionally, but most of the time I just wait for the timer to refill. If it's double Pet XP or Gardening and you're close to meeting your "goal" yeah it might be worth it, but on just an average day? Typically not, in my opinion.
