We have been repeately hit by a storm wolf spamming 4 owl spells in beastmoon hunt, stunning us for 4 rounds until we lost. Please add stun shield to the spell!

thats normal thats the wolf capacity the spell cost 1 pip so as long he stun he cant win pip and do low dmg if you want stun shield then you need an ice form and as expected on beastmoon ice beat storm so, sorry

In Beastmoon, none of the stun spells give a stun shield. If you want Stun Shields, you'll have to play an Ice Beastform.

Chain Stunning is definitely annoying, but by doing this, their Wolf can't do anything else but trade turns with you (and 50 damage per turn, which isn't very much). They can't blade up for a powerful Shark or AoE. Things that would be better than chain stuns in many cases, since a defeated player can't do anything unless they're healed. If they can't draw the cards to chain stun you long enough, then suddenly you can retaliate and you will have a lot of pips to do so with.

I think that if the Storm Wolf's Owl needs any nerfs, then it should be to the amount of copies that they can run. Instead of 4 Owls, give them 3. Makes the chain stunning combo less consistent while also limiting you to only three turns of stunning.

It's frustrating to be on the receiving end of chain-stunning. But unlike the main game, beast forms do not have access to Reshuffle or 20+ copies of the same treasure cards so there is a limit to how many times they can stun you. This is probably why stuns don't give stun shields by design.

It would be nice to see more forms with stun blocks though. Currently the number of beastforms with stunning spells greatly outnumbers the number of beastforms that can provide stun blocks. Storm Wolf, Ice Krokomummy, Storm Krokomummy, Ice Elf, Storm Elf, Myth Draconian, and Storm Rat Thief all have relatively low-pip (1-2) spells that can stun. Balance Cyclops, Myth Rat Thief, and Myth Minotaur also have stunning spells, though they are at least gated behind higher (4-6) pip costs. Meanwhile, only Ice Colossus and Ice Krokomummy have spells that can provide stun blocks to themselves or allies. And it should be noted that neither these forms are available this hunt unless you've already unlocked them. Meanwhile there is at least one low pip stunner (Storm Rat) available to all plus the new Storm Elf all the premium folks are taking for a spin.

What this currently means is there are way more combinations of beastforms who can coordinate their attacks to effectively stun lock an enemy than there are beastforms that can effectively counter these strategies. You also have Fire forms with accuracy debuffs which when combined with stuns can also effectively shut you down for several turns until you're defeated.
