I believe if kingsIsle makes a new world to continune on in wizard101. I think they should make it totally reverse. So headmaster ambrose is evil and takes malistares spot and then malistare is the headmaster and is the good guy. And all are professer's are the pigswick teachers.
A reverse world would in no way fit into the story, especially now that Malistaire has moved on and probably won't return. Also, the professors being the Pigswick teachers would make no sense whatsoever, because it's stated in the game that Pigswick's schools aren't real magic schools, just bad attempts at copying the Ravenwood schools.
Of course it could work. Just give goatees to the NPCs without facial hair (and shave those with) and it'll be obvious that we're in Reverse World. It doesn't have to "fit into the story" because it's not supposed to be part of the story. That's the point of an alt-world.

Isn't supposed to be part of the story? So it'd be a side world? We've waited long enough for the next main world. Also, just try to imagine Regina Flametalon with facial hair. My other points also still stand.
