I am wondering if I am the only one who was seriously disappointed in what you get from the Hive Bundle? It started out so well too, a really cool estate, an excellent weapon, cool wing mount and then you get to the armor. The armor has a great look, is a really neat concept but has absolutely no worth unless all you do is work on leveling your pets. Seriously, I paid $40 for armor that when I get my character to level 90+ gives NO health bonus?? I have been getting these cards for years now and have had little issue with them, I can even handle not being able to move things like my pagoda to another character, though it would be nice to be able to do so, getting useless gear for that much money is seriously wrong to me. I am wondering if anyone else is having this same complaint, if so let me know huh? I would like to say however it was nice of KI to increase the amount of crowns you get when you redeem a card during the holiday season. Maybe the extra will help me buy some real armor when I get to that level.
I have gotten upset from pack ripoffs before. But it is something you have to appriciate, for some people in the world don't even have enough money to buy a water. You are fortunate to even get to play wizard101. What you got from the pack is probably good, too.

I can't get the hive bundle in my country, so I haven't seen the gear. But it seems to be the case with all crowns gear: the low tier stuff is awesome, even overpowered, for wizards under level 40. But, for level 50 onward, the best gear is in-game drops.
I don't know what level you are now, but the only crowns items that are worth it at the high levels are the wands. Those are the only crowns items I use, since I have (or am working towards) the best gear available for all of my wizards.
