I guess it is just me, but no matter how hard I try to acquire one of these talents on any pet that has it (I know only certain pets have it) I never seem to get it. Am I missing something? I have hatched and hatched to try to gain even one of these talents and haven't gotten either one on any pet yet. My two kids play this game with me also and they get them but I cannot seem to. Someone told me that you need to feed it ice pet snacks to get proof, this did not work for me. I fed pet nothing but ice and still no proof.
I also think it to be lame to gain dogged or hurried or whatever silly talent that boost their stats. It cost enough and is hard enough to get talents you want and then only to hit epic or adult and get one of those talents. I wish KI would just stop putting those on the pets.
Feeding your pet ice snacks won't do anything, unless your pet is an ice pet, in which case he will like the snack and get more xp out of the training session.
Also, if your pet and the pet you're hatching with do not have Spell proof and/or Spell defy already manifesting, your chances will be lower to combine the two.
