my idea is that you can forge items. Crafted gear can be forged. But if it has a spell on it that is NOT your class.. It will not let you. Bundle gear. and mastery amulets cannot be forged, in fact amulets cannot be forged at all. The first item that you chose will take on that look and say upgraded (the item chosen first.) And yes it has to be the same level to forge them together, but if its like, a few levels away, you can forge them. The items on both ones forge to together. BUT not jewel slots at all.
Another idea is that there is a second spell for your class, that increases your chance of getting more pips, but only lasts 3 rounds, and you cannot use the spell again until 5 rounds are up.
