I actually found another thread requesting this, but It's old enough to reasonably assume that Kingsisle missed it, so I'll put up another incarnation of the request.
A while ago, I had an issue with castle tours where some very immature individuals would keep starting housing games, when other visitors, myself included, simply wanted to use the housing dungeons, or something else along those lines. (One of them kept starting a game of tag just to make jokes about the gobbler transformation) I would like to request a feature that would make it so that players visiting a castle will not be forced to play castle games if they don't want to.
It would work like this. When a housing game starts, or the player walks in on one, they get a window asking if they want to participate. If they choose yes, they join the game. If no, they become immune to all the games effects, and unable to use anything in the game. There would also be an option in the gameplay settings menu to set an automatic response to this.
This sort of requires a change to the tag game. To make it clearer who's in the game, all players who are not "it" will be transformed into sprites (the green ones used as a life minion.) It would also be a good idea to have any invisible players in any game also be invisible to everyone not in the game (to prevent using a non-player as a spy.)
