Hello, Despite that it's less popular than PvP, derby does have some dedicated fans. And, we would really appreciate it, if you took the time to listen to some of the derby community's countless ideas, to not only improve derby, but for it to gain some attraction as well.
1. Add the things that PvP has.
Badges-Something as simple as this, would makes us EXTREMELY happy.
Spectator mode-We want to watch matches too! Could especially come in handy for tournaments.
Leaderboards-It would be cool to see where we stand on a leaderboard, as PvP does.
Tournaments-This may take a bit more work, but tournaments could also be a good thing for derby.
2. Other things we feel would improve derby:
New courses for the newer worlds-(Celestia, Avalon, Azteca, etc..) New courses would be amazing, and would give more variety from what we already have.
Higher ticket rewards-I know, PvP matches can last quite awhile, and derby, well, two minutes or so. But, for the people who only do derby, could you imagine how long it would take to buy one of those pets Mr. Higgelbottom sells? On top of that, for someone who has an extremely high rank like me, better ticket rewards could even out the waiting an hour for one match.
Pets exclusive for derby-You would be amazed what people will do for pets! If you made a pet exclusive to derby rank, I think derby participation would sky rocket. If you want to do even more good, make it un-hatchable for looks.
Relay races and team races-This could add an interesting element to derby, and would give some variety and challenge.
The derby community has waited long enough, there are still bugs that haven't been fixed since derby was released! If you still care about derby, KI, please consider our ideas and suggestions. It would make us truly happy.

I would LOVE to have derby tournaments, as well as my derby badge, new derby courses, and higher ticket rewards. I would love if KI took into consideration these things, because I Pet Derby, and am not good at PvP, so making some derby rewards would be AWESOME
KI - Vanessa is not the only one who would like to see some enhancements to pet derby. When I first started playing W101, I really liked derby, but didn't know what I was doing. I stopped racing for a while, mainly because it became so hard to get a race. Over the past year, I've spent a fair amount of time studying strategy, and a whole lot of time and energy trying to get the perfect derby pet. It's really discouraging to not even have the second age badges. New courses, better prizes - there are lots of things that would make derby more popular. I really hope that you'll consider upgrading pet derby for those of us who are loyal racing fans.
I would love to see these things added to the game. Also, I think there should be a 2nd age derby badge for us to be able to equip.-Kat

I too would race more if it felt like I could get a race in a timely fashion. Not being able to see how many people are in line for a match is a bummer. If I knew most people were in line with an adult pet, I could put away my Ancient pet and equip an adult pet, so I could actually get a race. Racing is a really fun activity. I think it just needs to be promoted better.
Maybe it's time to put some effort into promoting pet racing and listen to a few of Vanessa's ideas!
