Wysteria, Pigswick Academy, Dolly Salvador. An Art magic professor, why has this not already been expanded upon. But then again, Alchemy's been waiting a fair while longer than Art. However, nevermind Alchemy, that's a topic for someone much more interested in the potion side of magic; let's talk colour! Personally, I love the idea that we can view one thing and see it infinitely differently, especially with colour. Some people only see black and white, others can see more than 10,000,000 different shades. So what of its use in W101?
Remember those books in your schools? You know, the ones talking about a Titan, a jewel & two colours? The latter is my point. After some research I found out that:
& are a bit uncertain, but I think you'd agree the colours work. Oh, I forgot to apologise for being British. I put 'u' in colour, deal with it. Basically, I'll show my thoughts for Art with a few spell examples.
Red Dot DoT - 3 pips (Power Pips work), 100% accuracy, deal 297 damage over 3 rounds.
White Canvas - 3 pips (Again), 100% acc, -50% to next incoming spell, -33% to second next, -25% to third.
Yellow Line - 3 pips, 100% acc, deal 300 damage to target.
Blue Bat - 3 pips, 100% acc, summon an Minion.
Green Heart - 3 pips, 100% acc, heal +500 to target.
Black Blast - 3 pips, 100% acc, deal 250 damage & heal half to self.
Brown Buff - 3 pips, 100% acc, +50% damage to next spell.
In essence, all Art spells use your Power Pips as Power Pips (like another primary school), deal slightly less than a spell directly from that school would deal, but it's now universal. This works again for the reason, people can look at one object, but view it differently. Take your magic, put a prism (not the spell kind) in front of its colours, and you'll find more colours than you thought could be there. This is both the weakest and most powerful school there could be. You also could have noticed the '' symbol, because that's how I'd like to show Art. Every spell uses the type of spell from another school, but still uses the school.
And that's just the basic 7 school colours. Picture this:
Pink Splatter - 3 pips, 100% acc, deal 150 damage over 3 rounds to target, & -35% incoming damage to self.
Red+White=Pink.
Cyan Summoning - 3 pips, 100% acc, heal 300 to target ally & summon an minion.
Blue+Green=Cyan.
Now problems happen with Blue+Yellow, because Green is already , so I propose we use another word for Green. Like Emerald or Viridian.
I'm running out of space, so I'll leave it here for you guys to expand upon. I hope you guys really have fun with this one, and let me know if you like it or not, should it be added, what level should it be taught? Tell and ask me anything you think of.
