I was thinking for a dorm Idea you could add 'expansion rooms'. Depending on your level you could possibly obtain other rooms to your dorm. Like another floor, a secret little study, or a combat area, for you and your pet(s).

I like the idea a lot of an expansion (I really don't like the huge castles). KI will not do it for free, but I see nothing wrong with charging a reasonable amount of crowns and GOLD to expand.
I think it kind o ruins the purpose of houses. Yes some are unreasonably huge but then wouldn't just be easier to recommend smaller houses? The dorms are meant to be your houses and until you buy a different house you get stuck with a small space. It just seems unnecessary.
Reaching level 15 would let you buy castles- and it doesn't take very long to. The houses you get from bundles usually have a PVP area- such as the Amber Estate. I agree with probably providing a battle area to buy in dorms; KI could just put it in the Crown Shop. Say it's just a teleporter that takes you to a PVP area, and there are multiple locations you can select. KingsIsle would profit from this, because everyone has their own preferences and would pick their different PVP locations. This is a very smart marketing technique and I definitely feel KI should put this into the game. However I don't find adding the other rooms necessary, simply reach 15 and buy a castle.
