I am surprised that w101 has not allowed the possibility of creating a spell that is from 2 schools. For example, allowing a fire wizard that has its dragon, combine the stun of either mammoth or giant.

P.S., Maybe have your pet ask you (like trading) if you want to merge spells, and the two pets, or all of the wizards' pets get together and create a random spell that has the dominant characteristics of whoever is on the first spot.

Although this is a great idea, it would entail KI making all of those spells and I just don't think they have it in them.
