Have you ever chosen an AOE (target all spell) spell, whether on all allies or all enemies, or a "target only" spell like Fairy, or even a minion spell or Global spell that you didn't mean to? That is annoying
Why don't they do just like on the single target spells and let you confirm what you're doing. They can just highlight the first person in line and no one else. Mistake casting is very annoying. I did it once in a PVP match, made a mistake and casted Fairy on the very 1st turn while going first. I looked like a complete noob. Why can't they just highlight only who you can target or target the 1st in line to be hit or healed or bladed or whatever? For minions and global spells that can highlight you. If you look at the red circles before an attack
(that shows who you're targeting) minion and Global spells target the caster and AOE spell target the 1st in line anyways
Consider this please

I agree, there are some problems with non-confirming spells like AoE spells, bubbles, Star auras, and Pixie. If all intended targets were highlighted when you picked one of these cards, that would help alert you if you made an error. Then you can click off to the side to cancel or click on an available target to confirm.

But there are problems with single targeting spells too, which might make this difficult to implement. For example, the developers still have not fixed the fleeing glitch (e.g., if someone flees in PvP before you select your spell, your spell automatically shifts clockwise by one player). I still think this would be important to experiment with though.

I don't know, I like that AoE/bubbles dont need an extra click. It keeps the battles moving fast.
