I suggest if your trying to get a good pet with crowns,try getting the Emberstone Tiger. Its really good you get a astral spell,grand pheonix,a fire spell that does two hundred something damage to you and six hundred damage to other person.

The only spell guaranteed is Immolate. The others are POSSIBLE talents and the chances of that phoenix spell are: Rarity: Epic
There are many great 1st generation pets out there, crowns and not. This is a good one, but if you use it too early, taking that 250 damage can just about kill you.
