My resitance

Lately, players have been making fun of me for my resistance level. Even my friends have been doing it. I am level 75 with 14 fire resist and 14 storm resist. I have my gear mostly to get life crits. I don't think anyone understands. What gear is good for a level 75+ life wizard that gives lots of criticals while still having resistance and that stuff?

Thanks!!!

Don't play the game by what other people think...ever.
If your gear is working for you then stopping worrying about it. And tell them just that; my gear works, thank you.

Waterworks gear for life is:

Hood of Esprit
+288 max health
+9% power pip
+17% damage
+9% universal resist
+59 critical
+5% incoming

Cape of Esprit
+359 max health
+8% power pip
+21% damage
+12% universal resist
+31 critical
+13 critical resist
+3% incoming

Boots of Esprit
+129 max health
+8% power pip
+15 damage
+6% universal resist
+27 critical resist
+5% incoming

Those are a good base of gear you can mix with other higher level dropped and bought and crafted gear. Mix and match as you like to get the stats that fit your play style as you like. Like previous poster said, don't worry about what others say, go with what works for you. That said, Waterworks gear is always a good start for anyone over lvl 60 until they are able to craft higher levels or get Hades gear at lvl 90.

Well for a life wizard right now think that the best gear you can get is Hades gear by far. I personally think and one of my best friend in the game said that Hades gear for all schools is the best right now probably. And I will agree with Angela Gem so don't ever get down on yourself about this game especially because of your friends in it. Life wizards do have it hard at time because they can be made fun of for not doing a lot of damage but I have life friends that can do more damage than me. Also if you want the best resist possible you should try to get the full Jade gear set which can be opened in the Keepers Lore pack. I have been trying to get the set myself for a little bit now for when I help friends with any Aquila dungeon.

This is how you know if your gear is good or not:
Fight the toughest common enemies you can (Available to you, not saying to go to Khrysalis or Azteca)
and if you do perfectly fine the whole time, Excellent. If you failed 1/3 times, It's maybe a good idea to change gear, anymore then 1/3 then you have to get new gear. (Just letting you know, in my opinion only schools who could focus on critical and make it benefit is Storm, Fire, and Myth. Just saying)

Well, if you're asking for a better resist set with good critical, here it goes (cause no offense, but 0% universal resist isn't good at all)
(Clickable links)
Helm of the Banneret - Level 76 Life hat. Gives no universal resist but gives 120 critical and 20 myth and 16 death resist. Pretty good hat. Crafted. If you don't craft, get the waterworks life hat. Only like 71 critical though.
Cape of Esprit - Level 60 Life robe. Gives only 31 critical, but it's the best robe until 86. (Power pip chance, 12% resist, block, 21 damage). Farmed from Sylster Glowstorm in the Waterworks (in Crab Alley, level 60 dungeon. See wiki page for cheats)
I can't find the page, but there are no boots with critical until later on. There are however very good craftable ones in Avalon from the same guy who gives you the hat. Look for them, 86 block I believe. 6%/7% resist also. (don't remember which lol)

Just my suggestions ~

Don't listen to what others think, do what you desire. As for gear, try to keep it balanced. Decent block, fair amount of universal resistance, decent health, decent damage, etc.

And if you need a decent first generation pet, I suggest the starfish from Celestia Base Camp for 10,000 gold. The starfish has spritely and spell proof.

I know this is a long post, but it might help you.

Problem: I cannot get the waterworks gear no matter how hard i try, and i am still on the marleybone crafting (Its too hard, just pretty much giving up on crafting) and i could wait till i am high enough level, and by better resistance gear

I also have a life wizard who still needs her gear. If you want to meet up for a run at some point, send me a message on central~ I'm willing to help you if you need it.

How many times have you tried? I got 2 bits of Waterworks gear on Life from 3 or 4 runs. It is really good, so it might be worth the effort.

What are you finding hard about crafting? If you need certain reagents someone here might be able to tell you where to find them.

I agree with the others who said don't worry about what other people think. If your kit works for you that is what counts.

I have been experiencing the same thing
I was doing pvp with some people but because it was a pvp arena at someones home, it was unfair and was 2 vs me
After the battle people were being really rude and saying how rubbish my stuff was
They were showing off how they were 10 levels lower than me and had really fancy crown items with mega pets and how they beat me up after all my shields were gone
I was about to burst into tears they were being so mean
Then one of them said 'Having anger issues?'
Then I was really mad! I went around talking to everyone I saw asking how I get better gear for my level.
I didn't get any answers except for the thing I did before the battle - Go to the Bazaar!
