Add a Balancespear, please!

All schools except Balance can learn a spear charm to boost the Armor Piercing on their regular spells. Balance gets an Elemental and Spirit spear, but no universal spear to use with our Balance damage spells like Judgement or Sabertooth. We get Balanceblade, Bladestorm, and Hex to use with our Balance spells, so why are Balance wizards excluded from having a Balancespear? Here is my suggestion for a Balancespear spell:

Balancespear: 0 pips, 100% accuracy. +9% Armor Piercing to next outgoing spell (Universal).

If it is universal (versus Balance damage only), we can use the spear on our allies in groups, allowing Balance to properly fill their role as the group buffer. This is similar to how we use our universal blades and trap already. Just like Balanceblade, the boost given by this universal charm would be slightly less than it's damage-specific counterparts. Balance wizards only would receive this spell as a reward from completing the quest "Lair of the Winter Wyrm".

For those who forgot: Lair of the Winter Wyrm is the quest that unlocks the trainer for all the spear spells. So by making Balancespear a Balance-only reward from this quest, Balance wizards would be getting their 0-pip spear at the same time as all the other schools.

Yes. I am wary of having to use up my Dragonspear treasure cards against cheating bosses. I would much prefer this to be a learned spell.

I don't think this is a good idea because if there were one, balance wouldn't be as special.

Well, I don't disagree, but some of your concerns are "done." When I say "done," the idea you're talking about is out there, but not in an immediate fashion and the spell is not stand alone.

Balance King Artorius gives a +10% Balance Pierce charm as a side effect, and Shadow Shrike will give a +10% Universal Pierce to all friends if you attack with a damage spell. So it's sort of in the game.

As noted it's a side effect of some spells. Another is Eirikur Axebreaker, the attack spell from Coldfire Dragon pet. It gives +9% to all friends. Adding a universal 0 pip spear to balance makes it too powerful. It would be stackable on other spears. There's more than enough pierce in the game. The only possible remedy would be a Balance-only spear that only affects spells like Ra, Nova and such spells that only cause balance damage.
