KI's a master when it comes to teasing the fans and loosely stating what's to come. Whether it be a fansite wide spread puzzle or zoomed in pictures that barely scratch the surface, KI has always found a fun way of bring excitement to the unknown surprises.
So, I wanted to suggest something.
The 2nd Arc is coming to close. And as the saying goes "When one door closes, another one opens." I have my fingers crossed that similar to Celestia's introduction the next major world (which may or may not show up for a long while) will get a lot of attention and many tidbit's to it's coming arrival.
However, instead of doing the same picture teasers KI often does (or at least to break new ground), what if for the next major world or arc, there was a pre-release trailer video that just gave a small overview and tidbits to the coming world.
KI's done commercials before for worlds like Wintertusk, Zafaria, and Khrysalis but those all came out during or after the expansions releases. Something recent, to give an example, is KI's overview video for the Spring Updates to Pirate101. The video was released before the actual update came out and was designed to add a bit of hype and give the anticipated Pirates some to nibble on before the update. I'm talking something like, but maybe a lot less revealing (in terms of what's coming) and came well before the worlds/arc's grand debut.
I think it would be cool and interesting if KI did a short 30 second to 1 minute and 30 second trailer video revealing areas and designs of a world we've never seen or (possible heard of) and having a voice give a brief overview of the plot (maybe even mentioning the new villian!). What's to come in with or the name of this world, such as typical covers like world name, new spells, new features, new pets, etc., don't necessary have to be highlighted since it would just be a trailer (but can be).
Let me use Polaris as an example: Think of short video characterizing snowy plains, new characters, and cold towering cities with wondering Penquin Soldiers and intimidating Polar Bears with a voice say something on the lines of...
"Here is a frosty realm of ice and snow. Polaris. This world has been torn asunder time and time again. While we've long since conquered the Walrus Czars, we've turned to a place of chilled hearts and shattered dreams. Once great warriors of fierce ships and noble navies, we are but a husk of our former selves. Angry riots and hidden rebellions now command the world, tearing it apart. And an unlikely return only stirs the tempered feels. I can feel the tension beneath the ice. Something darker lies frozen in the waste lands for time out of mind. What could it be and what of Polaris?"
Something like that would be really interesting to see for whatever world comes next for Wizard101. I think it would give some air of mystery and intrigue to the new world and arc. Just a suggestion to think about.
