I'm probably gonna look dumb here but I haven't played in a while and I was just thinking for storm is the waterworks gear or hades gear more ideal to use?

There's 30 level gap, so most likely Hades lol, But it also depends, I would recommend either Hades storm hat, either hades storm robe, as for shoes, the Heavy Rain Slippers (I know they are crowns but they are SUPER worth it)

It depends on what set of hades, and what use. There's multiple setups. If you are looking for waterworks like gear, ie good all around, then that would be Blackthunder gear.

http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Blackthunder_Armor
http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Blackthunder_Walkers

I personally use the helm and armor but wear Poseidon's Boots for better defense
http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Poseidon%27s_Waterskimmers
All those drop from Hades. Mostly higher stats than waterworks gear, but lower accuracy.

Other Hades gear has more critical and pierce damage, but offers no or little resist. It's referred to by players as "Glass Cannon" wear. The gear that works best for your play style depends on your play style.

Alright cool thanks guys!
So hades gear if I want the power and waterworks for all around.
Or hades hat and robe with the rain slippers.
Thanks for the help!

For hades gear I recommend:
http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Hades%27_Blackrain_Helm
http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Blackthunder_Armor
The shoes should be Heavy Rain Slippers, or just http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Blackthunder_Walkers
And now the reason I recommend Blackrain Helm rather then Blackthunder is because you get More health, More critical, more damage, more pierce, all this is VERY useful as a Storm.
Level 95Miguel.
508 Critical (Without PvP gear) 73 Block
85% Pip Chance
10% Incoming heal 17% Outgoing heal
21% Armor Pierce
96 Damage
21 Resist
9 Accuracy
3464 Health
420 Mana
85 Energy
If you like those stats get my gear! :D
Hades' Blackrain Helm
Blackthunder Armor
Heavy Rain Slippers
Hades' Staff of Tempests
Blade of the Felled Titan
Storm Owls Terror Ring
Children of the Sea Medallion (Trying to get the Divine Amulet of Influence)
(I have yet to get the Deck with 1% damage) So right now I have Storm Sun Gallery
Good luck on your gear!

The Blackthunder Walkers give less pip, less accuracy, less healing, less pierce and less resist than Poseidon's Waterskimmers. Worth it for the low price of +1 damage.
For helmet, I'd pick
http://www.wizard101central.com/wiki/Item:Clangor_from_Olympus_Brim
over the Blackrain. Same damage, same pierce, more health, added accuracy only very slightly lower critical.

Hmm.

Having trouble choosing for a few reasons
1. If i get this gear i wont have 87 gear damage anymore ill have lower
2. I think i worked to hard to get skyscream so getting this gear might blow all that up in my face
3. I was walking in triton avenue and then i catch in this battle then this low level brings up the fact i am a promethean with sky scream gear so the fact i decide not to get this gear humiliates me
4. I can't find any gear better than my full skyscream, and that gives me trouble seeing people with 96 or over gear damage with my gear
5. I can't seem to beat cerbeus anyway so this seems pointless

87 gear damage( looking for higher) Gavin Bluetheif
(also that guy who gave that wanadi black sky/solo boss master plan away)

It depends how you play. You have better accuracy and damage with Waterworks, but more critical and pierce with Tartarus. You can mix and match in crafted and crown items too, so don't get hung up on using one set all the time. It's better to change out for what you are doing, like high piece but good block and resist for PvP, max critical and damage for farming, and a balance of stats for questing. My 95 Storm still uses the Waterworks hat and robe most of the time for PvE. I don't like the Hades gear at all for questing, but it can be deadly in the arena.

Waterworks has better accuracy and damage, which can be more important in PvE. I wouldn't rush to change it. Block boots and wands can help if you need a bit more defense.

Hades also gives much higher power pip chances. +24% in my setup vs +0% in waterworks. As a storm I find the higher critical, power pip, life, healing and resist more than offset the lower accuracy and slightly lower damage boost in PvE. For quick hitting, power pips make a huge difference. 71% with WW and 95% with Hades/Poseidon mix. Less rounds means less attacks in PvE. With Tempest that power pip difference is a lot bigger than the extra +11 damage and +14 accuracy. The difference between 258 critical and 399 critical is vast also.

Build for what you are doing. In PvP I like the crit and pierce of Tar gear. For PvE that doesn't matter to me, and even my base pips are enough for a Lord on 3, so I use WW hat & cape with crown or crafted boots most of the time. There are some good mix and match builds too, and school specific resists for solo bosses.

Change it up. Using one set of gear all the time is limiting.

I never said one set of gear. If you had read my post you'd see that it's a mixed set. I merely stated that WW isn't really better than Hades for PvE. I generally use Hades hat and robe and change out boots too. A 71% base pip does not come close to allowing a Lord on 3 all the time. A 95% pip does, but there's rarely any reason to wait that long for mobs when you have Tempest and critical almost every time.
