Hello KingsIsle,

Paragraph 1: PvP
Paragraph 2: Shadow Enhanced Spells
Paragraph 3: Ideas for a "Vanilla Wizard101" download
Paragraph 4: A few ideas for better gameplay

My name is Jason ShadowWraith. I have recently been thinking about quitting the game for the reason that many things have been implemented that make the game unfair to some schools. Balance, Storm and Life rule PvP now because of new things that have been added. Life has Guardian Spirit, this i believe should be banned from PvP because it makes matches take close to 1-2 hours. Storm has Insane Bolt and Wild Bolt, these 2 spells i believe should be nerfed or just gotten rid of. I think Insane Bolt (Like the the TC) should be banned from pvp. Wild bolt is okay, it just gets annoying when you get crit on for 4,000 with a wild bolt on the first round. Balance has Loremaster, which is spammed by all balances everywhere, that's why there are so many balance Warlords, i also believe that Mana Burn is insanely op in PvP as well. I'm not just here to complain about PvP, but that is one of the main topics.

Shadow enhanced spells have brought a lot of new potential to the game with the backgrounds and effects. I do however think they are a little too much in PvP. I think that ALL the new shadow enhanced spells be banned from PvP. They're a little to OP in the matter, but i do think they're fantastic for questing. The Balance one especially is super OP in pvp. I'm a level 100 death wizard and i think that the fact that every school can get a damage bubble except for death is unfair. All schools have them other than Life, Balance and Death. But now, Life has Giant Spider which puts up a life damage bubble after it hits. While balance has Gaze of Fate which not only does 2 different damages, but puts a balance damage bubble up as well. Death has Age of Reckoning and Doom and Gloom, yet no damage bubble. It's nice in questing but in PvP it's also a good thing to have for that little extra "umph" when you hit.

Thank you so much for reading this novel I wrote you guys, I've been thinking of quitting the game but i think these ideas could really be a benefit to the game. Thanks for your time! :D

Actually all schools have a damage bubble right now. Fire has Wyldfire, Ice has Balefrost, Storm has Darkwind, Myth has Time of Legend, Balance has the bubble from Gaze of Fate, Life has Giant Spider, and Death has Red Ghost. Also I disagree with you with the Shadow-Enhanced spells. If they are taken out many high level wizards will have to rethink strategies, redo decks, etc. and many people probably won't like that.

Yes you are correct Red Ghost gives a bubble, only 1 pet and it's not a tc available. But Giant Spider is available as a tc and from a pet.

With the shadow enhanced spells, they are super op. The life strategy now is just Guardian spirit, then spam caterpillar for the absorb. The only thing that has any use against that is the heal backs death has, they go through absorbs. For all other school it's annoying to go through the absorb being that's it's 800 damage. I hate them now cause PvP is no strategy at all. The strategies are:
Storm: RNG (random number generator) or, spam wild bolt, insane, and bug and hope for the best
Balance: Lore Spam..... this spell is just annoying
Life: Guardian Spirit, then Caterpillar spam
Death: Overtimes and heal backs, some skill involved but not too much
Fire: Spam Fire From Above and then use other smaller hits to spam you with the traps on
Ice: Have 7-8k health and just blade and trap up and then one shot with Abominable Weaver

It's super annoying to fight like this and I wish PvP went back to the old days where it required skill, and not just a lot of critical and damage.
