For a while, I've been thinking of getting the level upgrades for hoard pack gear (I'm sure other threads have had the same idea before). It's not fair having to buy the better version of your own wand and hope to get lucky all over again, as we already have the item but need a higher level version of it. So I think there Professor Lincoln should offer hoard pack item upgrades (such as a level 10 Frosty Stare Tiki Torch being upgraded to a level 20 Frosty Stare Tiki Torch) for 399 crowns, the same price as one pack in Wizard101. Who else thinks this is a good idea?
I think this would help improve morale, reassure them that it's not all about money-making. I would also appreciate a "Level down" feature so I could reuse old items on new wizards.
Pricing might be tricky. I agree that 10 Level bump should cost about 399 crowns, or one pack. However, if you're taking a Level 10 wand to a Level 90, that shouldn't cost just 399. I think pricing needs to scale with the level increase/decrease desired.

Yes, if you were to take a level 10 wand to level 90, you would have to pay 399 crowns per 10 levels in the wand upgrade. You would pay 399 crowns to take the wand to level 20, another 399 crowns to take it level 30, and so on.
