A lot more of the things in the crown shop need to be able to be purchased with gold, most of the things in it actually. As it is I would say less then half of the items in it are purchasable with gold. Not everyone can afford to go buy crowns on a regular basis. Some of the main things that would need to be purchasable with gold are the armors/weapons and the potions mainly the energy potion and the card packs.

Yes and no.... Id want to see this happen but the items you listed is a bit pushing it. The card packs should remain crowns. Armors and Weapons, id say with each new world that comes out the oldest Level x5 gear should cost less and be also bought with crowns. For example, when they released Khrysalis, they should put the Level 65 Gears for gold cause they are now older and less desirable gear. For weapons this would also apply. Potions I would like to see for gold. Pets for gold, some of them. Mounts are fine as is.
I'd love to have more items for gold in the Crown Shop. However, this was set up for a reason. KingsIsle needs money to make the magic continue. Purchasing Crowns contributes to this. Sorry. Best of luck!
