Hi Everyone!,
And I have though of this... What if we had a family in Wizard101?! Not like Real Life Family but in the character thing where it says " Text Chat " or " Menu Chat "... It could have a button where it says " Add To Family " And it will sent a Request to the Player saying " Added To Family By.... { then whoever asked name } . Then it would say YES or NO... then if you say yes it tells the player who sent the request. Right after they dedice who will be who... Then once then you head to a new place you could make called ' Family Finder '
then you ask the person there... You type the persons name , school , and level and it will search that person then it will show pictures of that person you searched... Then you choose the person who your looking for. Then you become family! Ta-Da... :D...

So Tell Me If You Like My Idea... If You Like My Idea Thank You So Much! If Dont Tell Me why?

So what would the difference be between what you're suggesting and say friends on your friends list or people added to a group (friends or otherwise)?

I know in the past few months I've seen less, "Who needs a girl?" or, "Who needs a guy?" But I've seen a few people asking things like, "Who needs a daughter?" or "Who needs a mom?" and things of that nature. Does this suggestion have anything to do with that sort of role playing people seem to be engaging in?

If so, I don't think we need something added to keep track of artificial "family trees". It could wind up being very messy. What happens if I decide Player X is my mom, Player Y decides to be Player X's mom, and I happen to meet Player Y and we decide I'm her husband? Suddenly my mom becomes my daughter, and I become my own grandpa.

Let's just stick to being friends.

What would being family exactly do? I don't think this is a good idea, since we're young wizards, and young people shouldn't be establishing families.

There's an old saying:

You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family.
