I was riding my Nightflame Pegasus and i looked at my wizard (Mycin Dayeyes) and i thought, "Wouldnt it be cool if my mount matched my clothes? i would look alot more cool!" So i had an epiphany! What if we could customize our mounts to our liking! It would add a great varaity to the world of wizard101! but hey, you guys at KI are doing a great job! its up to you guys not me. but as a game designer myself i've learned a thing our two.
