If I have three rain beetles (and I do because every time I try hatching the beetle with someone else's pet in hopes of getting something I don't already have, I get stuck with yet another one -- irritating!) and a friend really, really wants a rain beetle but never gets one when hatching, where would be the harm in making it possible for me to trade one of my beetles for one of the 'extra' pets he has?
Wizard101 saying "We aren't going to allow it." is hardly a satisfactory response. It comes across as petty and senselessly dictatorial. So IS there an actual reason?
We appreciate your feedback, but the trade of items other than non-enchanted Treasure Cards will NOT be a part of Wizard101.
We feel that an economy of item trading is not appropriate for our game. KingsIsle Entertainment has developed Wizard101 to be an exciting and fun online experience for people of all ages. We believe that an important part of delivering online entertainment is to provide a safe environment for all players, and that’s a responsibility we take seriously. Introducing an in-game item trading economy does not fit with our values and vision for Wizard101.
