Shields for off hand equipment

Seems that there are a lot of Wizards using swords, axes or clubs as their wand. Leaving their other hand empty.

Adding a shield to the equipment list (with appropriate level restrictions!) would give players a complete set of armor.

Give shields bonus to resist stats.
Higher level shields resist stats and a spell card !

I love the idea of shields but the game is about wizards not warriors but that is an awesome idea kingisle should make shields as a resist gear

Yes Just Yes Perfect idea

P.S. you know those spells like "Minor spark" that do like 45 damage? maybe shields would have like lets say 35% chance of "blocking the spell" or even "reflecting the spell!" blocking the spell would make that spell do only 0 damage. and reflecting the spell... well you get the idea. ( only works on those weak spells)

That's a perfect idea!

I'm getting ideas as I write this, so here I go! XD

If the wizard is using a ONE HAND WEAPON, they will hold the shield in their other hand.
If the wizard is using a TWO HAND WEAPON, the shield will be attached to an arm.

I love this idea, but remember, Kingsisle still hasnt released any armor that is without a doubt better than Waterworks armor, so it could take a while for this to be implemented. However, I say to keep this as an rpg, if the wizard has a two handed weapon, then he/she has to choose between that weapon, or a one handed weapon and a shield. In most rpg's you cannot equip a shield with a 2 handed weapon. Just remember, I am not meaning to be hating with this post.
