Please fix this issue.Please give compensation for lost time. Also, without the quest tracker it makes it REALLY REALLY hard to find something or someone.
Quest Tracker works just fine, young Wizard. And many Wizards such as yourself complete their tasks without it.
Not all quests qualify for the arrow, some things you just have to find for yourself.
You must have a quest selected in your Quest Journal in order for Quest Tracker to know what to Track, and you can toggle your Quest Tracker on and off by using the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl-T.
As Mrs. Greyrose said, there are 2 things: 1.) Most usual case, you need to hit Ctrl T, which enables quest tracker.
2.) Some quests do NOT allow quest helper.
E.i.: Yardbirds, Troggs, Smiths, Black Crows, etc. and history quests. There are occassional exceptions; as one on the "Art of War" history book quest in dragonspyre for the storyline.
in replay to the ronster55 USE THE MAPS they are on it not all quests are compass tracker capable. the maps will give general idea of where to look, all of zekes quest are on the maps just look at maps, or one of the help sites for wizard101 dont complain about the tracker just use something else if one thing dont work , think of another plan.

Actually, zeke's quests are not on the map... Dont know where you got that from...
Actually, since Avalon was released, I've experienced a bug where the Quest Tracker arrow just locks in place, frozen in a straight ahead position. I think that's what the original poster was talking about.
If your quest tracker ever gets frozen in place, quit out of the program and relaunch Wizard 101. That should fix the problem. Just logging out to the classroom with all your wizards is not enough to fix it. You have to quit the program and relaunch.
