I think there should be new enemies, because every enemy is usually, a copy just in a different colouring.

I think he meant that they had the same thing (like horned barbarians, in somewhere in ds, they are minotaurs, along with warhorns in cyclops lane, same creature, different name). But its fairly common in the lower worlds.
